Kim Polivko is a golf fitness instructor, strength coach, yoga teacher, mobility, breathing and mind-body coach and practices reiki. She has been interested in how the body works and nutrition her whole adult life. After graduating college with a degree in journalism from Rider College, Kim became a marathon runner. With intense training came challenges, and so began her journey with yoga as a way to move better, feel better and think better. Kim has been the Mobility and Yoga Coach at Seton Hall University for the past six years. She assists the men's and women's golf teams, the women's tennis team, men's basketball, women's soccer, softball, and men's and women's swim & dive team. She has implemented strength and conditioning programs and has trained athletes as well. In addition, she works with local high school teams and athletes.
Prior to coaching mobility and yoga, she assisted Seton Hall professor of Asian Studies, Zen & Yoga, for two years, teaching Depak Chopra's Seven Spiritual Laws of Success. Kim is a TPI Level 1 Instructor, FRC Mobility Specialist, Breathe Better 101 Coach, Power Yoga for Sports Elite Teacher, Reiki Master and 500 hour Yoga Teacher from the American Yoga Academy. Kim believes in taking a holistic approach to form a well-rounded fitness plan and that in order to create real and lasting change, you must address not only training and nutrition, but also develop a healthy mind-set.
She is the mother of two amazing boys and two crazy-wonderful dogs. She understands the challenges juggling physical and mental well-being with life, work and family. Her mission is to empower, to break down self-limiting beliefs, and help achieve fitness and life goals. Kim will be available for one on one training, small group training, high intensity/fitness/mobility classes and yoga.
