Gerard is a lifelong fitness enthusiast, extremely passionate about reaching new milestones and assisting others to achieve their goals. Gerard considers himself a lifelong athlete, dedicated to self-improvement and embracing new challenges. He has competed at the division 1 level in college as a distance runner for Monmouth University’s men’s cross country and track & field teams.
Gerard spent nearly four years assigned to the 75th Ranger Regiment as an infantryman where he completed two combat deployments to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Gerard continued his service as a Drill Sergeant where he trained thousands of soldiers in Basic Combat Training. He finished his service to the Armed forces assigned to the 20th Special Forces group as a member of the training team where he helped to assist fellow soldiers train to meet the rigorous demands of the Special Forces Assessment & Selection course.
After Gerard’s military service, he decided to take his passion of fitness to the civilian sector. He is currently a NASM certified personal trainer working with people ranging from all ability levels. His other certifications include Titleist Level 1, Titleist Level 2 Fitness, NASM Golf Specialist, and NASM Speed, Agility, and Quickness Training Specialist. Gerard desires to work with people in all fitness capacities and aspires to work with golf athletes passionate about improving their athletic performance in a dramatic way.
Gerard currently trains in a more well-rounded manner, incorporating all aspects of fitness. You can find him competing in Hyrox, Deka-Fit, Spartan racing, mountain biking, and even motocross racing. He considers himself a versatile and easily adaptable athlete. He plays golf leisurely and loves anything outdoors. Gerard spends most of his free time reading books about neuroscience and philosophy or working toward his master’s degree in Exercise Science from Concordia University.
